Hello, the same man ended my career. I was accused of terrible things, and never given a chance to defend myself, just thrown under the bus. I'm locked out of the industry now, and pretty much a pariah with both the community of journalism, and the communities I used to cover.

It's been awful, and I have no idea what comes next.

(Also, I am an American in another of the low countries — Luxembourg. And I am so damn frustrated by the vaccine rollout and the handling of the pandemic, I can’t even.)

Anyway, thanks for writing this, and letting me think for a moment that maybe I’m not especially terrible, maybe it’s him, not me.
